Agent Desk is a chat client for a personal AI agent ("brain") that runs on a server you configure yourself. The app itself does not run any AI model and does not host any account system. This policy explains what data the app handles and where it goes.

1. Data the app sends to your server

When you connect the app to a server address (your own bridge, entered on the first screen), the app sends to that server only:

Chat messages you type or dictate, and the replies you receive. They are needed for the app to work (App functionality). The server you connect to stores the conversation history so that the agent keeps context between messages. History is kept on that server until it is deleted there.
Photos you explicitly attach in the chat (taken with the camera or picked from the gallery). They are sent only when you choose to attach them, only to your server, and only for the purpose of the conversation.
Notification delivery (optional): the app can receive push notifications about your Google Play apps ("studio console"). Delivery goes through the ntfy push service using an anonymous topic name; no personal data is included in the subscription.

All traffic to the server uses the address you entered. When that address is an https:// URL, the data is encrypted in transit.

2. Data the app does NOT collect

No advertising, no advertising ID, no analytics SDKs, no third-party tracking.
No account creation: the app has no accounts of its own; access to a server is controlled by the server's own token.
No contacts, location, SMS, call logs or files other than the photos you attach.
The microphone is used only for on-device voice input and wake-word detection; audio is processed on the phone and is not uploaded.

The app does not share personal data with third parties. The only recipient of your messages is the server address you configured. The developer does not receive your data unless you connect to a server operated by the developer.

4. Data retention and deletion

Data kept on the phone (server address, token, cached UI state) can be deleted at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
Conversation history lives on the server you connected to. To delete it, remove it on that server or ask its operator. For a server operated by the developer, send a deletion request to kotkanagrilli@gmail.com and the data will be removed within 30 days.

5. Children

The app is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children.

6. Changes

Updates to this policy are published on this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
